Junior IT Operations Analyst – Help Desk (Lausanne)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior IT Operations Analyst to join a leading Swiss organisation’s IT Operations team in Lausanne. The role focuses on maintaining the stability and continuity of critical IT services through monitoring, incident handling, and first‑level troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure, applications and operational alerts.
• Identify, log and track incidents using ticketing tools.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform first‑level troubleshooting and operational checks.
• Execute documented operational procedures.
• Verify scheduled tasks, system availability and backups.
• Maintain operational documentation and reporting activities.
• Support occasional on‑site technical interventions.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk, NOC or IT Operations.
• Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, EasyVista or Remedy.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, Windows environments and networking concepts.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, process‑driven environment.
• Service‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent French (mandatory) and professional proficiency in English.
