Junior Production Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Production Operator to join the Biologics Manufacturing Science and Operations team in Lucerne. The role supports the drug substance bioprocess on a 12‑month contract, ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and compliance with GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare components, set up equipment, perform sampling and manage materials on the shop floor.
• Monitor, calibrate, maintain and certify manufacturing equipment to maintain GMP status.
• Complete and review batch documentation supporting production activities.
• Familiarize with and follow area Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate daily work schedules and liaise with support groups.
• Handle inventory and order management.
• Perform housekeeping and general shop‑floor tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or equivalent apprenticeship/education.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Understanding of GMP manufacturing processes.
