Junior Software Engineer – Digital Pathology Backend

About the role

Join Bio-Techne’s Computer Vision team to help build the backend of a cutting‑edge digital pathology platform. You will work on image rendering, analysis pipelines, and contribute to the evolution of the software architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the digital pathology image‑analysis backend.
• Optimize image rendering and navigation performance.
• Participate in designing the image‑analysis workflow architecture.
• Contribute to software quality activities, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of object‑oriented programming experience in C++ and/or Python.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑changing environment and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
