Junior Solutions Architect

About the role

Blockstream is looking for a Junior Solutions Architect to support the design and delivery of secure, scalable blockchain and digital‑asset solutions for enterprise and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing end‑to‑end blockchain platforms for banking, custody, payments and treasury use cases.
• Define technical architecture including API design, data flows, event‑driven systems and integration patterns.
• Make platform‑level decisions on deployment models, consensus mechanisms and security protocols.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, protocols and tools based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering and DevOps teams to ensure architectures are buildable, testable and operable.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, system specifications and integration guides.

Required profile

• Strong technical aptitude with eagerness to learn.
• Understanding of blockchain technology, distributed systems and cryptographic principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and modern deployment practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
