About the role
We are seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to support the Senior Key Account Manager in overseeing national retail customers for the Austrian market. Based in Zurich with a hybrid work model, you will help translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and drive commercial performance for a portfolio of well‑established consumer‑goods brands.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing key national customer accounts and maintain strong, consistent relationships.
- Prepare materials and insights for regular customer meetings and annual business reviews.
- Support the achievement of sales and margin targets across assigned accounts.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify growth opportunities and recommend improvements.
- Help optimise distribution, assortment, placement and pricing strategies.
- Participate in the planning, execution and evaluation of promotional activities.
- Ensure business strategies are executed in line with key‑account objectives.
- Develop an understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of experience in sales, key account management, category management, trade marketing or a similar commercial role.
- Initial exposure to key account management within the FMCG sector is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Austrian retail landscape is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision‑making.
- Business‑level fluency in German and English.
