Key Account Manager – Swiss Pharma Sales (Bern & Basel)

About the role

Biocon Biologics is seeking an experienced Sales Representative / Key Account Manager to strengthen its presence in the Swiss market, covering the Bern and Basel region. The role focuses on promoting biosimilar products across oncology, haematology, gastroenterology and rheumatology, and building relationships with hospitals, physicians and procurement committees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for biosimilar portfolios in the assigned region.
• Engage with hospital formularies, procurement committees and key opinion leaders to secure product adoption.
• Lead tender participation, switching strategies and formulary access initiatives.
• Educate clinicians on biosimilar similarity, efficacy, safety and interchangeability.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacovigilance, promotional rules and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Proven pharmaceutical sales experience in Switzerland, with regular interaction in hospital environments.
• Deep understanding of Swiss market access, public procurement and decision‑making pathways.
• Therapeutic expertise in oncology/haematology, gastroenterology or rheumatology/inflammatory diseases.
• Fluent German (C1 or native level); English proficiency.
• Established network of specialists, pharmacists and procurement professionals in the Bern & Basel region.
