Landing Gear Design Engineer with NX

About the role

We are looking for a Landing Gear Design Engineer with strong expertise in Siemens NX to join a long‑term aircraft development programme with a world‑class OEM. The position is based in a scenic region of Switzerland and offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise landing‑gear concepts from initial studies through detailed design.
• Create 3‑D models, assemblies and detailed drawings using Siemens NX.
• Apply Part 23 certification requirements throughout the design process.
• Support prototyping activities and coordinate with test teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to integrate landing‑gear components into the overall aircraft architecture.

Required profile

• University degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, preferably with landing‑gear projects.
• Proven ability to work autonomously under tight schedules.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work permit).

Required skills

• Siemens NX (advanced modelling and drafting).
• Conceptual design and prototyping of aircraft structures.
• Knowledge of Part 23 certification standards.
