Lead Commodity Manager

About the role

Manage assigned electrical commodities for the Gas Power Heavy Duty New Units business segment, supporting supplier panel development and negotiating optimal contractual conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of purchase orders for assigned commodities.
• Contribute to supplier strategy and panel optimization.
• Lead negotiations and allocate demand to specific suppliers.
• Ensure suppliers meet GE Vernova requirements and handle exceptions.
• Manage purchase order changes and commercial claims.
• Develop commodity expertise with cross‑functional support.
• Identify and support process improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in sourcing and commodity management.
• Fluent English.
