Lead Solutions Architect - AI Platforms

About the role

A fast-growing technology and AI company based in Geneva, serving organisations of 100 to 2,000 employees, has created a new Lead Solutions Architect role. You will work directly with business leaders, sales professionals and international engineering teams to shape AI-powered solutions, combining business analysis, solution architecture and technical pre-sales. You will lead solution engineering with a multidisciplinary offshore team.

Key responsibilities

• Meet prospects and clients with Sales, run discovery workshops and interviews, and turn needs into prioritised use cases, process flows, functional requirements and success criteria.
• Design practical, secure and scalable solutions, validate technical approaches with Platform Engineering and architects, and shape demos, prototypes, pilots, proposals and estimates.
• Support opportunities from qualification through paid pilots to production, and help scale solution engineering toward 30-50 pilots in 2027.
• Lead solution engineering across Architecture, Software Engineering, UI/UX, DevOps and QA, setting objectives, priorities and quality expectations with offshore technical leads.
• Review solution feasibility, encourage reuse and standardise approaches, and coach engineers without taking over daily people management.
• Give requirements, designs and acceptance criteria to Delivery teams, stay available during implementation, and feed client needs and product feedback back to Platform Engineering and Product teams.

Required profile

• 8-15 years in solution architecture, business analysis, solution engineering, technical pre-sales or technology consulting.
• Experience in a scale-up or entrepreneurial consulting environment, with strong mid-market client experience (100-2,000 employees); Swiss market exposure preferred.
• Proven experience with offshore or distributed engineering teams, including team leadership.
• Good understanding of AI, automation and data platforms; regulated-industry experience is an advantage.
• French and English required; German a plus, occasional travel to France and the UK.
