Lead Teacher – Software Development & AI (Full-Stack) IT SkillSprint

About the role

A partner company is looking for a Lead Teacher for a full-stack development and AI training programme aimed at third-year university students. The teacher delivers an intensive programme combining live instruction, hands-on coding and collaborative projects, guiding students through modern backend and frontend technologies and showing how to use AI tools responsibly. The role is fully remote, with the Netherlands as the designated location, and involves travel to Baku, Azerbaijan for three milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily live lectures, demonstrations and coding sessions (two hours of theory and practice, two hours of guided lab work)
• Prepare and adapt lesson plans and learning materials to the students' progress
• Mentor student teams through the Mid-Bootcamp Project and the Final Capstone
• Teach responsible use of AI coding assistants for code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation and feature development
• Assess assignments and technical progress, give feedback and run Q&A sessions
• Work with the Teaching Assistant to organise lab sessions and coordinate with programme managers and client representatives

Required profile

• At least three years of professional experience in full-stack web development and software engineering
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience in software bootcamps, university programmes or similar training
• Fluent English (C1 or above); all teaching materials are delivered in English
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and to travel to Baku for three milestones

Required skills

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, JWT, microservices or messaging (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
• Frontend: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3
• DevOps: Git, GitHub, Docker, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
• AI-assisted development: GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or Codeium, with a strong sense of responsible AI use
