Lecturer in Finance and Economics

About the role

The Swiss School for International Relations seeks a dedicated Lecturer to teach undergraduate finance and economics courses in Geneva. This position offers the chance to shape the next generation of professionals in international economics and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures, seminars and workshops covering topics such as Financial Programming, Derivatives, Corporate Finance, Securities, Monetary‑Credit Relations and Sustainable Finance.
• Update course materials to reflect current research and industry developments.
• Create an interactive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and practical application.
• Facilitate partnerships with industry to provide students with internship and real‑world experience opportunities.

Required profile

• PhD in Finance, Economics, Business or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in finance with practical experience.
• Proven undergraduate teaching experience.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Fluency in English.
• Swiss or EU citizenship, or a valid Swiss work permit.
