Lecturer - Pharmacy (Education Focused)

About the role

The School of Pharmacy at UNSW seeks an Education‑focused Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning for undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programmes. You will play a key role in designing engaging, evidence‑based curricula and supporting student success and employability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver innovative teaching sessions and assessments across pharmacy disciplines.
• Coordinate courses, ensure academic quality, and contribute to accreditation processes.
• Utilise and develop educational technologies and online delivery methods.
• Support student progression, employability outcomes, and provide academic guidance.
• Participate in school and faculty initiatives, fostering a collaborative teaching environment.

Required profile

• PhD in Pharmacy with relevant professional experience.
• Registration as a pharmacist (or eligibility) in Australia.
• Current knowledge of the discipline and commitment to professional development.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
• Knowledge of industry or work‑integrated learning (desirable).
