Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Psychology (2 positions)

About the role

UNSW School of Psychology is seeking two academics – a Lecturer (Level B) and a Senior Lecturer (Level C) – to join a vibrant, research‑intensive environment. The positions are full‑time, 35 hours per week, on a two‑year fixed‑term contract that can convert to a tenure‑track appointment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in statistics and research methods.
• Design learning activities, assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain an active research programme and contribute to the School’s national and international reputation.
• Participate in service activities, including curriculum development and student mentorship.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Faculty of Science and external research centres.

Required profile

• PhD in Psychology or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly research with publications in reputable journals.
• Experience teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and community engagement.
• Eligibility for international visa sponsorship where required.

• Statistical analysis and research methodology expertise.
