Legal Associate – Digital Transformation & Compliance

About the role

This one‑year fixed‑term position supports the organisation during its digital transformation and the initial development of its compliance and governance framework, working under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, Quality & Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support identification, evaluation and implementation of digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting healthcare, digitalisation and information governance, and assess their operational impact.
• Assist in the development and initial implementation of the organisation’s Compliance Management System (CMS) and conduct internal compliance reviews.
• Support GDPR, Swiss FADP and internal confidentiality compliance, including data protection impact assessments.
• Coordinate work packages within digital transformation and compliance projects, preparing documentation and progress reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (MLaw) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Strong interest in digital transformation, healthcare law, data protection and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and research skills with ability to translate complex legal issues into practical recommendations.
• Fluent in English and German (C1 level) and able to work under close supervision in a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI‑supported solutions and digital collaboration platforms.
• Experience with AI‑supported productivity tools is an advantage.
