Legal & Compliance Lawyer – Financial Services (Geneva)

About the role

EY is looking for a motivated lawyer to join its Legal & Financial Services practice in Geneva. You will work at the intersection of business, law and technology, helping clients in the financial services sector navigate complex regulatory landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver project work that bridges business needs with legal and technological solutions.
• Analyse and resolve complex legal issues for national and international financial services clients.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
• Maintain direct interaction with clients, providing trusted advisory services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law; admission to the bar (LL.M. or dissertation is a plus).
• 1‑3 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in‑house within a bank or financial institution in Switzerland.
• Experience advising on regulatory and compliance matters (e.g., AMLA, FinSA, FMIA).
• Fluent in English and French; German proficiency highly desirable.
