Legal Counsel – Commercial & IT Contracts

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Legal Counsel to join our Legal Services team at our headquarters in Uzwil. You will work closely with global colleagues, providing pragmatic legal advice that supports the business in a compliant and commercially sound manner.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal stakeholders on commercial contracts, IT law, and corporate governance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including customer, supplier, and IT‑related contracts (software, cloud, SaaS).
• Develop and maintain contract templates, policies, and legal standards while improving legal processes and tools.
• Identify legal risks, monitor regulatory developments, and translate them into practical business guidance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and support governance matters, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Required profile

• Swiss law degree and admission to the bar in Switzerland.
• Several years of relevant experience in a law firm or in‑house setting, preferably in an international, industrial or technology‑driven environment.
• Strong expertise in contract law, IT law, and corporate governance with proven drafting and negotiation experience.
• Independent, structured working style combined with strong teamwork, business acumen, and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, high integrity, reliability, and sound judgment.
• Fluency in German and English and a keen interest in digitalisation, legal technology, and continuous improvement.
