Legal Counsel (French & Spanish Law)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with deep knowledge of French and Spanish law to join our fast‑growing international tech company in Switzerland. The role will support the expansion of digital mobility services across Europe by providing strategic legal guidance on a wide range of regulatory and commercial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business and operational teams on platform regulation, e‑commerce, transportation law, consumer protection and digital services.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, partnership agreements, marketing contracts and licensing arrangements.
• Manage pre‑litigation and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Support regulatory interactions and respond to governmental or regulatory inquiries across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with French, Spanish and European legal frameworks while enabling scalable growth.
• Develop pragmatic, business‑oriented legal solutions that balance risk and operational objectives.
• Contribute to legal project management, process improvement and efficient workflow implementation.
• Build strong relationships with cross‑functional teams and provide clear, actionable legal guidance.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience as a qualified lawyer within an EU jurisdiction, either in‑house or in private practice, preferably in technology‑driven or high‑growth environments.
• Strong expertise in French law and proven knowledge of Spanish law, with the ability to work across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Solid experience in commercial contracts, e‑commerce, platform regulation, consumer protection and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent contract drafting, negotiation and risk‑assessment skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Business‑oriented mindset capable of delivering pragmatic, solution‑driven advice in dynamic settings.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal projects.
