Legal Counsel, IM Supply Chain

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Global Legal Organization supporting the Innovative Medicine (IM) Supply Chain. The role focuses on biotherapeutics supply‑chain contracts, covering the full lifecycle from clinical to commercial stages.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate supply‑chain agreements with external manufacturers and suppliers for drug substance and drug product production.
• Provide legal advice on high‑risk, high‑complexity contracts across the biotherapeutics platform.
• Collaborate with procurement, external manufacturing, discovery, product development, and supply teams to align contractual commitments with operational decisions.
• Support capital forecasts, reservation fees, and collaboration partner arrangements.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in pharmaceutical or biotherapeutics supply‑chain transactions.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high‑value contracts from clinical through commercial phases.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
