Legal Counsel – Litigation Support & Representation (Switzerland)

About the role

An independent governance and accountability initiative is seeking a Swiss‑qualified lawyer to provide litigation support and representation on complex, international matters. The engagement is retainer‑based, flexible and primarily remote, with occasional in‑person appearances in Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients before judicial, administrative and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare and file submissions, appeals and related documents under strict deadlines.
• Support litigation strategy, procedural coordination and case management.
• Provide substitution coverage and ensure procedural continuity.
• Coordinate with investigators, external experts and advisors as needed.

Required profile

• Based in Switzerland and admitted to practice before Swiss courts (avocat.e / Rechtsanwalt.in).
• Professional fluency in French and English, both written and oral.
• Strong drafting ability, procedural discipline and attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling contentious matters and tight deadlines.
• Independent yet collaborative working style with high ethical standards.
