Legal Specialist – International IP & Commercial Law

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Specialist based in Switzerland to support our international business operations. You will provide strategic legal guidance across intellectual property, commercial contracts, compliance, and corporate matters, helping the company grow while mitigating legal risks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright registrations in the EU, US and other jurisdictions, and handle infringement actions such as cease‑and‑desist notices and DMCA requests.
• Administer domain portfolios and digital assets, overseeing due diligence, registrations, renewals, transfers, and monitoring for potential infringements.
• Represent the business in domain name disputes (UDRP, URS), preparing legal documentation and coordinating with external counsel.
• Draft, negotiate and review commercial agreements including licensing, NDAs, SaaS contracts, API integration agreements, MSAs and publisher agreements.
• Ensure compliance with regulations in iGaming, FinTech, eCommerce, data protection (GDPR, CCPA) and cookie requirements.
• Support and maintain the corporate structure of international group entities and advise on cross‑border corporate matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a legal role with exposure to commercial and intellectual property law.
• Proven ability to draft complex legal agreements independently.
• Strong knowledge of foreign legal systems, legal research, statutory interpretation and case law analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to convey legal risks and recommendations to non‑legal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive mindset for identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Commercial orientation with the ability to balance legal protection and business objectives.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of intellectual property law, trademark and copyright processes.
• Experience with domain name dispute resolution (UDRP, URS).
• Familiarity with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Ability to draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements in iGaming, FinTech and eCommerce sectors.
