Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Artificialy, an AI company in Switzerland, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to work with financial‑sector clients. You will design, develop, and operationalise data‑driven solutions, spending most of your time onsite at our Lugano or Zurich offices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of ML projects, from experimentation to deployment, monitoring and optimisation.
• Build automated analytical pipelines, forecasting models, anomaly‑detection systems and other statistical‑machine‑learning solutions.
• Ensure pipelines and models are reliable, scalable and meet banking‑industry standards in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with software engineering, infrastructure and domain teams to integrate solutions into enterprise ecosystems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Solid understanding of ML principles, statistical modelling and modern data‑processing techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and production‑grade ML deployments.
• Proficiency in English.
