Maintenance Technician - CNC & Manufacturing Equipment

About the role

Jabil is looking for a Maintenance Technician for CNC and manufacturing equipment in Mezzovico (Ticino, Switzerland). This is a newly created, full-time position on a permanent basis, starting in January 2027 or by mutual agreement. The role covers maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and support of production machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Keep CNC, DMG and other manufacturing equipment running reliably and available
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs
• Support installation, commissioning and optimisation of new machines
• Carry out equipment upgrades, calibrations and technical improvements
• Support machine connectivity, CNC backup and digitalisation initiatives
• Document maintenance activities and keep accurate service records
• Train and support machine operators on equipment care and best practices
• Help with spare parts management and inventory
• Take part in on-call duty and occasional overtime when required

Required profile

• Technical training in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance or a similar field
• 2-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing or industrial equipment
• Good troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical and electromechanical systems
• Experience with CNC machines; knowledge of DMG equipment is a plus
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and electrical schematics
• Good English; Italian is an advantage
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one is a plus
• Flexibility for on-call rotations and occasional overtime
