Maintenance Technician

About the role

RADCO is seeking a Maintenance Technician who is eager to learn, takes pride in the quality of their work and is resourceful in solving problems. You will help keep multifamily properties well‑maintained and safe for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and address safety concerns promptly.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, pool equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and roofing issues.
• Complete service requests within 24 hours and respond to on‑call emergencies within one hour.
• Move appliances and furniture, assist with abandoned items removal, and transport tools and parts as needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, prospects, and vendors while upholding RADCO’s caring values.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong time‑management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, OSHA and EPA regulations.

Required skills

• HVAC troubleshooting and refrigerant recycling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• CPO certification (preferred).
• Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance and roofing repair.
• Pool maintenance (if applicable).
