Major Account Manager

About the role

The Major Account Manager will drive new business and expand Datadog's footprint with its largest and most strategic clients in Switzerland. This high‑visibility position targets bold revenue goals and works within a hybrid/remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and manage a targeted set of enterprise accounts, running an efficient sales process.
• Nurture existing client relationships, grow the Datadog footprint and negotiate pricing based on value and ROI.
• Maintain and own relationship maps for the territory, including aspirational contacts.
• Develop deep understanding of customers' businesses and identify business drivers behind opportunities.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and consistently meet sales targets.

Required profile

• 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably selling to Fortune 100 companies.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and managing complex account teams.
• Experience selling new solutions to existing customers and breaking into new business units.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites across regions.
• Fluency in French is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong prospecting and pipeline‑building methodology.
• Ability to negotiate favorable pricing and business terms.
• Knowledge of MEDDIC and Command of the Message sales frameworks.
