Manager Auditor - Financial Services, Geneva

About the role

EY's Assurance Service Line is hiring a Manager Auditor in Financial Services in Geneva. You will work with national and international companies in the banking sector, helping to grow the practice through trusted client relationships and high-performing teams, within an international and multicultural environment. The role includes intensive on-the-job training combined with supervision and counselling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audits of companies headquartered in Switzerland and/or subsidiaries of multinational groups.
• Help build trust and confidence through transparency, clarity and consistency.
• Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment and apply complex accounting and auditing concepts to client situations.
• Maintain productive relationships with client personnel, assess client satisfaction and stay in regular contact with the client throughout the year.
• Direct daily fieldwork, report engagement status to Senior Managers and Partners, and manage staff performance.
• Coach junior audit team members on accounting and auditing matters and foster an efficient, team-oriented environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Audit & Management Control, Corporate Finance, Business Administration or Economics.
• Certified public accountant's diploma or similar (Swiss CPA, DEC, ACCA, etc.).
• 5-7 years of experience in external audit; Big Four experience is a plus.
• Managerial experience leading an audit team internationally, coaching staff and liaising with audit specialists.
• Experience in Swiss regulatory audits is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication in French; English and German are strong assets, others a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and to build strong working relationships.
• Team player mentality and willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
