Managing Consultant - Findur Functional

About the role

capSpire, a vendor-independent consulting firm serving energy and commodity companies, is looking for an experienced OpenLink Findur Functional Consultant to act as the functional subject matter expert. The role leads the design, configuration and optimisation of trading, risk and operations workflows, working with business and technical teams. It is based in the UK or Switzerland, remote with travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary functional SME for OpenLink Findur across trading, risk management, settlements and accounting modules.
• Lead or contribute to full lifecycle projects, from scoping and design through build, test, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Drive major Findur enhancements such as new product onboarding, system upgrades and business process automation.
• Collaborate with technical teams on customisations, interfaces and integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
• Work with front, middle and back office, operations and finance users to gather, document and deliver requirements and use cases through to user acceptance and implementation.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of energy, commodity and financial markets trading and risk management businesses.
• At least 10 years of OpenLink Findur experience, including version 14 and above, is essential.
• Proven experience in system upgrades, testing and UAT leadership.
• Extensive experience in financial markets, including financial instruments and commodity derivatives.

Required skills

• Expertise in front-to-back office modules: trade capture, risk, curves, settlements, confirmations and reporting.
• Experience configuring Findur managers, workflows, templates and reference data.
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, able to work independently or in a team.
