Manufacturing Engineer – Serial Production Support

About the role

Join Beyond Gravity’s multidisciplinary engineering team in Emmen, Switzerland, to support the industrialisation and serial production of launch‑vehicle structures. You will work closely with development, operations and quality teams in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support to manufacturing operations to ensure correct production flow, quality, on‑time delivery and cost targets.
• Define work instructions, equipment, tools, materials and training in collaboration with operations, quality and design engineering.
• Apply project‑management techniques to meet cost, technical and schedule requirements.
• Lead non‑conformance handling, root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and standard‑work implementation to increase productivity.
• Develop and verify new jigs, tooling, equipment, parts and processes.
• Participate in change‑management activities for process and design updates.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to transfer best practices and maintain portfolio standardisation.

Required profile

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, industrialisation or production engineering.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, quality and design teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for problem solving and process optimisation.
