Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

You will deliver complete mechanical design solutions for industrial machines and welded structures, guiding projects from concept through to fabrication documentation. Working closely with project teams and technical stakeholders, you will ensure designs meet client specifications, quality standards, and operational constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Design technical solutions aligned with client requirements and project constraints.
• Perform feasibility studies, pre‑dimensioning calculations, and detailed design work.
• Develop 3D models and produce fabrication drawings using CATIA V5.
• Manage all engineering phases up to the full fabrication dossier.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to project proposals.
• Support manufacturing, testing phases, and on‑site commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design of industrial machines or welded structures.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes such as welding, machining, and assembly.
• Proven experience managing the full design lifecycle through to fabrication.
• Fluency in French and English.
• NATO nationality (single or dual) required.
