Mechanical Industrialization Engineer

About the role

Voltiris is developing solar panel technology that can be integrated into agricultural greenhouses without compromising crop yield. The Mechanical Industrialization Engineer will turn mechanical concepts into robust, repeatable, and scalable production solutions, overseeing the path from design review to serial production ramp‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical designs for manufacturability, assembly efficiency, reliability, cost, and scalability.
• Define production methods, assembly sequences, tooling, fixtures, and required equipment.
• Prepare and maintain production drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with suppliers on manufacturing feasibility, process selection, and design improvements.
• Support prototype builds, first production batches, and supplier ramp‑up.
• Monitor production trials, resolve process bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience industrialising mechanical components for serial production.
• Proven ability to work across engineering, supply chain, production, and installation teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on cost‑effective manufacturing.

Required skills

• CAD (computer‑aided design) proficiency.
• Manufacturing engineering and tooling design.
• Supplier coordination and feasibility analysis.
• Production drawing and bill‑of‑materials preparation.
• Tolerance analysis and critical dimension definition.
