Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Agap2 is seeking a Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer to support Medtech clients in optimizing production processes. You will work on‑site, applying your engineering expertise to ensure smooth technology transfers and successful line implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise during technology transfer of production processes.
• Lead full production line implementation, including writing User Requirements Specifications (URS), selecting suppliers, and coordinating external partners.
• Qualify equipment through Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) and produce the associated documentation.
• Organise user training and conduct risk analyses to identify problems and propose technical solutions.
• Implement lean management strategies and support teams through start‑up, production, and routine phases.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Medtech manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
• EU or Swiss citizenship.
