Method & Process Engineer – CAD & Digital Engineering

About the role

As a Method & Process Engineer focusing on CAD and Digital Engineering, you will shape the future of our engineering processes by driving global development and standardisation of our CAD system landscape. You will ensure continuous improvement and automation through the integration of AI and state‑of‑the‑art technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global CAD Excellence Programme and manage corporate‑wide use of CAD systems for product and packaging development.
• Advance automation of CAD processes and embed AI applications and standardised procedures.
• Design, organise and deliver regular training on CAD, simulation and AI for all engineers in the department.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange by validating and sharing information from internal and external partners.
• Represent the business unit in high‑level working groups on CAD and simulation, contributing to new procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Technical background, preferably in mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline.
• Communicative, team‑oriented, analytical, solution‑focused and highly independent.
• Fluent business English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Passion for digital transformation and applying new technologies such as AI in an engineering environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the PTC CREO Suite (including Windchill and Codebeamer).
• Experience with ARTIOS CAD.
• Proficiency in applying AI solutions to CAD workflows.
