NDT Technician – Zurich Airport

About the role

We are seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join our Piece Part Repair team at Zurich Airport, supporting a leading aircraft engine MRO operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) inspections on aircraft engine components.
• Evaluate and accurately document inspection results.
• Ensure inspections are completed on schedule and meet the highest quality standards.
• Work in accordance with EN 4179/NAS 410 standards and internal quality procedures.
• Maintain NDT equipment and support 5S workplace standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve inspection findings.

Required profile

• Completed technical apprenticeship in mechanical, aviation, manufacturing or a related field.
• PT/MT certification to EN 4179/NAS 410 (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Good eyesight with no colour‑vision deficiency.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to work a 2‑shift rotation.
• German and English language skills at minimum B2 level.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
