New Business Manager

About the role

PPG is seeking a dynamic New Business Manager to join its Automotive Refinish team in Switzerland. The role is remote‑based, ideally located near Ecublens, and involves regular travel across the assigned territory to develop new business and strengthen customer partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and win new customers within the territory to drive business growth.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular visits and proactive account management.
• Plan and execute sales activities independently, managing the territory to maximize opportunities.
• Own sales targets and deliver sustainable growth while maintaining a robust pipeline.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities.
• Prepare and present business plans, budgets and project updates to internal stakeholders.
• Provide on‑site technical guidance and product expertise to customers.
• Coordinate technical support and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Background as an Industrial Painter, Automotive Painter, Body Repair Technician or comparable technical qualification.
• Proven sales experience in industrial coatings, automotive refinish or commercial vehicle sectors.
• Strong technical understanding of coating products, paint systems and automotive applications.
• Ability to build trust, influence decisions and create long‑term customer partnerships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to achieve ambitious goals.
• Fluent in French; English and German are an advantage.
