Night Maternity Nurse for Newborn – Champel, Geneva

About the role

A warm family in Champel, Geneva is looking for an experienced Night Maternity Nurse to provide overnight care for their newborn, starting at birth in December 2026 and continuing through March 2027. The role focuses on ensuring the baby’s safety, comfort, and healthy sleep patterns during the night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive overnight care for the newborn.
• Support feeding, including breastfeeding assistance or bottle feeding.
• Change nappies, soothe the baby, and settle them back to sleep.
• Monitor the baby’s wellbeing throughout the night.
• Sterilise bottles and maintain nursery equipment used overnight.
• Promote healthy sleep routines and offer guidance to parents.
• Prepare a clear hand‑over report for parents each morning.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a maternity or newborn nurse.
• Strong references from previous families.
• Calm, discreet, nurturing, and highly organised.
• Fluent in English, French, or Spanish.
• Eligible to work in Switzerland.

Required skills

• Infant First Aid certification.
