On-Site Desktop Support Technician – Vevey, Switzerland

About the role

Excis is seeking a proactive Desktop Support Technician to provide on‑site IT assistance at its Vevey location. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users and VIPs, handling incidents from diagnosis through resolution while ensuring SLA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality on‑site support for desktops, laptops, POS systems, printers and AV/meeting‑room equipment.
• Manage incidents and service requests independently, from initial logging to final closure.
• Support PC refresh cycles: staging, deployment, data migration, de‑commissioning and asset updates.
• Assist server and network teams with hands‑on tasks and maintain accurate CMDB and asset records.
• Educate users on self‑service tools and promote remote resolution to minimise dispatches.
• Maintain local stock, coordinate with vendors and identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of on‑site IT support experience with proven ability to work independently.
• Strong customer focus, outgoing personality and ability to thrive in a high‑energy environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French (B2+ or native).
• Based in or near Vevey; long commutes are not sustainable.
• Preference for candidates holding a Swiss passport or a valid B/C work permit.
