Operations Financial & Trade Analyst (f/m/d) 80-100%

About the role

ABB is looking for an Operations Financial & Trade Analyst (f/m/d) in Untersiggenthal, Kanton Aargau, reporting to the Site Controller. The role sits at the interface of Operations, Finance and Trade Compliance and works on financially and foreign-trade-relevant material master data in SAP, including country of origin and inventory values. It contributes to the CHIND motion and automation organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor financial and foreign-trade-related material master data in SAP, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Perform preferential origin and product cost calculations to ensure accurate costing and trade compliance.
• Analyze material prices and investigate purchasing and production cost variances, supporting SOX controls and inventory accuracy.
• Advise and train colleagues on master data, costing and origin topics after onboarding, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Commercial education with further training in Business Administration or a related field (HF, FH, Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on material costs and inventory valuation.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail with financially or compliance-relevant data.
• Highly proficient in written and spoken German and English.
• Self-motivated, service-oriented and willing to collaborate across Finance, Operations, Procurement and Trade Compliance, and to share knowledge and train colleagues.

Required skills

• SAP experience, particularly material master data and costing-related processes.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
