Operator – Biotech Support Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Operator to support biotech manufacturing operations at our client’s facility in Schachen, Luzern. The role involves performing routine activities in the Weigh & Dispense, Solution Supply, USP and DSP areas while ensuring strict compliance with GMP and GDocP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine operator activities in the Weigh & Dispense and Solution Supply areas following GMP and GDocP requirements.
• Support operational tasks in USP and DSP manufacturing zones, including sampling, equipment setup, line clearance, and single‑use system assembly.
• Execute sampling according to approved plans, SOPs, and batch records.
• Assist with equipment cleaning, washer and autoclave cycles, and ensure manufacturing room readiness.
• Carry out calibration, routine maintenance, and material staging, transfers, inspection, and inventory checks.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately (batch records, logbooks, electronic systems) and report deviations or safety observations.
• Support audits, inspections, and internal walkthroughs as required.

Required profile

• Technical or scientific vocational training (e.g., Biotechnology, Chemistry, Lab Technician).
• Minimum 3 years of GMP manufacturing experience, preferably in biotech or pharma.
• Strong understanding of GDP and ALCOA+ principles.
• High attention to detail and a compliance‑focused mindset.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments with both single‑use and stainless‑steel biotech equipment.
• Fluent in German and English.
