OT Engineer – Industrial Automation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OT Engineer to join an industrial partner in Geneva. The role focuses on designing, validating, and maintaining OT solutions within a pharmaceutical‑focused environment, ensuring seamless integration with IT systems and robust cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate software, network, and system architectures for industrial environments, incorporating cybersecurity measures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and administer the technical computer park.
• Collaborate with IT teams on implementation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and applications.
• Participate in project teams for new installations, estimate costs and timelines, and manage interfaces with other services.
• Supervise external OT service providers and support long‑term maintenance issues.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects, standardise processes, and update related standards.
• Monitor technology trends, contribute to working groups, and apply quality procedures (e.g., Six Sigma, ITIL).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (OT/Automation).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an OT environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong knowledge of industrial computing, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Ability to lead projects and work with cross‑functional teams.
