PLM Solution Architect - Teamcenter

About the role

SHL Medical designs, develops and manufactures self-injection devices for pharmaceutical and biotech partners. The PLM Solution Architect defines, designs and guides the implementation of scalable, MedTech-compliant PLM solutions in Teamcenter, so that engineering, quality, industrialization and design verification processes are supported and harmonized. The architect assesses the current Teamcenter implementation and data flow and proposes a practical, maintainable alternative. No travel is required.

Key responsibilities

• Assess business requirements and support internal Teamcenter solutions while keeping the current implementation stable.
• Own end-to-end integration with SAP, MES, Polarion and other systems, and document it.
• Collaborate with process owners, solution engineers and SMEs on scope, interfaces, risks and constraints.
• Ensure solutions follow best practices, global PLM principles, governance and compliance rules for regulated industries.
• Implement approved components in Teamcenter and use feedback to improve workflows and reduce user friction.
• Facilitate communication and ownership across business domains and train users on new PLM features.
• Contribute to the PLM roadmap and vision, and keep the Teamcenter architecture scalable and maintainable.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of end-to-end experience as a Teamcenter Solution Architect.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, life sciences or a related field.
• Fluent English; German is preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries and agile methodologies (certification a plus).

Required skills

• Advanced solution design and process modelling.
• Stakeholder management and collaboration with process owners, SMEs and IT.
• Preferred: end-to-end PLM knowledge, release-train planning, and Teamcenter integration.
