Primary Healthcare Coalition Lead

About the role

The Primary Healthcare Coalition (PHCC) Lead will coordinate and drive activities of the PHCC, a collaborative platform under the Infectious Disease Alliance. This remote, volunteer position is ideal for professionals passionate about primary healthcare, partnerships, and advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard and support PHCC members, facilitate virtual meetings, and maintain coalition records.
• Align coalition activities with strategic priorities, lead event planning (webinars, workshops, dialogues), and ensure visibility on IDA’s website.
• Contribute to concept notes, reports, newsletters, policy briefs, and advocacy materials.
• Liaise with NGOs, researchers, policymakers, funders, and private‑sector stakeholders to promote coalition impact.

Required profile

• Academic background in public/global health, primary care, health policy or related fields.
• Experience in coalition coordination, stakeholder engagement, or primary‑healthcare advocacy is a strong asset.
• Passion for equity, primary healthcare, and evidence‑based policy; collaborative and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Strong organizational, communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom and Canva.
• Ability to write concise policy‑oriented content such as briefs, concept notes and event reports.
