Process Engineer

About the role

As a Process Engineer (MSAT) you will directly support production operations and drive continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment. Working within a matrix structure, you will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure product quality, compliance, and efficient manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage non‑conformities, changes, and documentation in SAP across processes, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with logistics, development, quality, and external suppliers to guarantee seamless product supply.
• Lead structured root‑cause analyses and implement data‑driven corrective actions.
• Investigate and process deviations in sensor and reagent production.
• Optimize production processes to improve quality, increase yield, and reduce costs.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve control loops.
• Prepare for quality audits and represent the chapter during audit procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering (e.g., Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering) or equivalent apprenticeship.
• At least one year of professional experience in a highly regulated (GxP) environment.
• Strong quality awareness and knowledge of process and product development.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent English and working knowledge of German.
