Process Engineer – Manufacturing (80-100% F/M/D)

About the role

Join our manufacturing team as a Process Engineer and play a pivotal role in advancing varistor production. You will lead projects that enhance quality, efficiency, and sustainability while working closely with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute improvement projects within varistor manufacturing.
• Analyze, optimize, and further develop production processes.
• Introduce new technologies, materials, and manufacturing methods.
• Validate and stabilize processes while balancing quality and cost targets.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across the production environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and maintain process documentation and technical reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Structured, solution‑oriented way of working.
• High level of initiative and ownership.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
