Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking a talented Procurement Manager to join our team in Saint-Blaise and support the industrialization and production of our atomic clock products. You will work closely with Global Component Engineering and R&D sites worldwide to secure the best electronic components at optimal cost and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives, price and contract negotiations, and component/supplier selection for electronic parts.
• Define commodity strategies, preferred and strategic suppliers, and negotiate Volume Purchase Agreements, long‑term price books, and step pricing.
• Optimize logistics terms (lead time, VMI, buffer stocks) and quality T&C in line with company requirements.
• Build strong relationships with key supplier decision‑makers and monitor market, product, technology, and supplier trends.
• Implement early‑warning systems for material shortages, lead‑time increases, and allocation risks.
• Collaborate early in product development projects to ensure component availability for pre‑release and series production.
• Lead component and supplier rationalisation and support product line cost‑reduction programmes.
• Manage escalations related to material shortages and allocation, and oversee Supplier Relationship Management.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Business Administration with strong technical understanding.
• 3‑5 years of experience in the Telecom/Networking or Electronic industry.
• Deep knowledge of the IC industry, including FPGAs, ASSP and CPLDs.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills; business‑fluent English.
• Team player able to work under pressure, reliable and mobile.
