Product & Business Development Manager - Semiconductor

About the role

An internationally operating, fast-growing company offering advanced process control and process-enabling solutions for the semiconductor industry (plasma etching, metrology, in situ process management and chemistry process control) is looking for an experienced Product Management person with strong knowledge of the semiconductor market and equipment expertise. The role is based in Olten, Switzerland, and involves evolving the company's solutions for its semiconductor clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new markets and customer needs within the semiconductor industry
• Promote the company's products and predict or address client objectives
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers (up to 25% travel)
• Prepare sales contracts, provide feedback and after-sales support
• Influence the team's Agile development to ensure appropriate product evolution
• Contribute directly to company growth and collaborate on leveraging the company's technical capabilities, IP and know-how

Required profile

• Several years of experience in the semiconductor industry; first-hand experience with emerging MRAM technology is a plus
• Some years of experience as a business development manager, sales manager or in an equivalent role
• Experience selling to early adopter customers
• Technical credibility in semiconductor technology, materials science, measurement technologies and metrology
• Master's or Ph.D. degree in physics or electrical engineering
• Fluent English, preferably other languages
