Product Data Analyst

About the role

This position is for a Product Data Analyst based in Switzerland, embedded within a data‑literate product team. You will partner directly with product managers to uncover user behavior, activation, and adoption insights that drive product success for a leading workflow automation platform.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated analytics partner to product managers, analyzing product usage, user behavior, and feature performance.
• Conduct advanced analyses across activation, onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion to identify behavioral drivers.
• Deliver cross‑product and segment‑level insights beyond individual squads.
• Co‑develop hypotheses with product managers and design analytical approaches to validate decisions.
• Influence roadmap decisions with data‑backed recommendations.
• Design, evaluate, and interpret A/B tests and experiments with statistical rigor.
• Partner with engineering on event instrumentation, tracking design, and data quality improvements.
• Proactively surface insights and recommendations without formal requests.
• Translate complex findings into clear narratives for decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics or data analysis within B2B SaaS environments, preferably product‑led growth companies.
• Strong experience analyzing user behavior, product funnels, activation metrics, retention drivers, and feature adoption.
• Deep expertise in SQL and modern data stacks.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Proven track record designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests.
• Experience defining event tracking schemas and collaborating with engineering on instrumentation.
