Product Designer

About the role

Sonar is seeking a passionate product design generalist to join its Product Design team. You will own the experience for a squad that builds developer‑focused AI code‑review and security products, helping users write better, more secure code.

Key responsibilities

• Own product design for a dedicated squad and champion a world‑class user experience.
• Research and map complex developer and agent workflows to create intuitive, functional solutions.
• Integrate AI throughout the design process to accelerate research synthesis, automate repetitive tasks, and prototype at high fidelity.
• Listen to users and customers to uncover needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, designers, and researchers to ensure consistency and best‑practice delivery.

Required profile

• Passionate product design generalist with experience designing for technical audiences.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and research teams.
• Deep interest in the software development lifecycle and AI‑augmented workflows.
