Product Manager Orthopaedics

About the role

An innovative orthopaedic medical technology company is looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of parts of its joint reconstruction portfolio in Switzerland. The role covers portfolio strategy, market positioning, product lifecycle management and commercial execution, working closely with Sales, Medical Education and international product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the Swiss product and portfolio strategy for joint reconstruction solutions, including hip, knee, shoulder or related enabling technologies.
• Translate international product strategies into locally relevant market plans, positioning, messaging and value propositions.
• Plan and execute go-to-market activities, product launches, upgrades, phase-ins and phase-outs with Sales, Operations and Medical Education.
• Support commercial teams with product training, competitive positioning, sales tools and value-based messaging.
• Collect and analyse market, customer, clinical and competitor insights to find opportunities for portfolio optimisation and growth.
• Act as the key product expert and interface between local stakeholders, field teams and international product management.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, marketing or a related commercial role in a regulated environment.
• Experience in orthopaedics, medical devices or joint reconstruction, ideally with hip, knee, shoulder or enabling technologies.
• Fluent German and English; French or Italian is an advantage.
