Product Owner – Agile Sprint Management (Zurich)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Owner to join our Zurich team for a focused, on‑site engagement from June 2026 to June 2027. The role translates product strategy into sprint‑level work items, manages the backlog, and ensures delivery of high‑quality features across multiple products while adhering to ITIL and ISO 20000 service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define, prioritize and maintain a clear product backlog aligned with strategy.
• Write detailed feature descriptions and acceptance criteria for sprint delivery.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to prioritize sprint work based on business value, technical dependencies and customer impact.
• Lead incident response, problem management and root‑cause analysis to improve system reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with ITIL/ISO 20000 standards.
• Plan and coordinate releases and deployments, ensuring smooth production roll‑outs.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove blockers and track progress during 2‑week sprint cycles.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer issue resolution, feedback management and usability assessment.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, technical debt and system integration.
• Excellent collaboration skills, able to lead Agile ceremonies and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions and evaluate technical trade‑offs.
