Production Engineer – Digital Mock‑Up (DMU)

About the role

We are looking for a Production Engineer specialized in Digital Mock‑Ups (DMU) to support the industrialisation of our diesel and gas engines. You will work closely with design and production teams to ensure that assembly processes are efficient, safe and ready for future production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse Digital Mock‑Ups to anticipate production requirements and optimise assembly and pre‑assembly sequences.
• Study accessibility of assembly areas and tooling to guarantee feasible and efficient operations.
• Identify and mitigate collision risks between components, installations and tools.
• Participate in engine assembly activities to gather hands‑on knowledge and relay improvement requests.
• Translate analyses into technical reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Conduct strategic studies and provide key analyses to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with production teams to test assembly lines and validate findings under real conditions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with a design focus.
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design or simulation.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and good French; German is a plus.
• Strong interest in diesel engines and complex industrial environments.
• Flexibility, agility and a proactive, responsible attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of Pro/Engineer (CREO).
• Familiarity with Teamcenter Visual Mockup (preferred).
