Production Engineer – End‑of‑Line Test Systems

About the role

As a Production Engineer you will own the End‑of‑Line test systems that guarantee product quality and process stability in series production. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to design, commission and continuously improve testing equipment and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, stability and performance of End‑of‑Line test systems.
• Industrialise and commission new test systems – from calibration and verification to stable hand‑over to series production.
• Optimise existing equipment and testing/production processes, including hardware, software and procedural changes.
• Analyse failures and deviations, implement sustainable solutions and drive targeted improvement measures.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and Engineering departments.
• Enhance the evaluation and utilisation of test data and support knowledge transfer across teams.

Required profile

• Technical degree or equivalent training in electronics, mechanics or a related field.
• Several years of experience in a similar role within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in process optimisation, preferably using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Hands‑on expertise in developing production equipment from analysis to release for series production.
• Structured, independent working style with an interdisciplinary mindset and an affinity for metrology.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, with willingness to travel (~5%).
